Leadership
is the ability to influence others to reach a goal. People
want to be guided by leaders who have clear objectives and organisation
skills. A
team
is the mirror of those who guide it. If you are not satisfied with the way your
team works, take a step back and observe your leadership
style from the outside. The answer is there. Leading
by example
is essential in order to have the confidence to
ask your team to behave in the same way. It doesn’t make your team
automatically willing to follow your example. Leadership
also means being able to use authority when necessary. Eliminating
all those who don’t agree with you
from your team weakens your
leadership. If
your team needs to run, should you allow them to recruit a tortoise
